Vaigha Thangam Vipin of 6th grade secured 2nd position in Inter School Sanskrit Shloka competition held by Global Indian International School, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Feb 9 2023.

Aarush Biju Nair of 8th grade has been placed in the top one hundred students from Trivandrum region in the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2022.

UN REPLICA 2022

December 02 & 03, 2022

The 2022 edition of UN Replica was conducted on 2nd and 3rd of December at Labour India Public School. Four students from our school, Meera Reji of XII, Niharika Devaraj of XII, Nancia Mariam Manu of XI and Ryan Mathew of class X has participated in the replica. The UN replica was organized by Labour India Group aims at introducing UN style of functioning and its relevance to the young generations, making them aware of the international issues and enabling them to discuss the topics.

The UN Security Council and General Assembly will be replicated here during which two topics ‘Right of People to self-determination’ and ‘Maintenance of Peace and Security of Ukraine’ were discussed. Ryan was the delegate of Qatar in UNGA, Meera was the delegate of GA while Niharika was in the Security Council representing China. They followed the etiquette of delegates by addressing each other as ‘distinguished delegates’ of their respective countries. The UN Replica of 2022 was helpful platform for the students to understand World Issues at a deep range. It opens the door to World Politics for students.

Mindwar Quiz contest

November 21, 2022

Mind Wars School Quiz Contest was Organized on Nov 21st 2022 by the school Library. Around 170 students participated In the preliminary round and 12 finalists were selected based on the top scores. The top 2 teams were awarded gift Vouchers and the other teams were given merit certificates.

Abigail bagged First Prize with a 38″ LED TV & Melissa Jobins secured Second Prize with HD Speaker in November Rain – JAM (Just A Minute) – Inter School Competition conducted by Kottayam Round Table and Kottayam Ladies Circle on 5th November at Mangalam Engg. College, Kottayam.

Nilofarbanu Ismail of class 8th Won Bronze Medals in 50 Meters BIFIN & 4×50 M Surface Relay for State FINSWIMMING Championship held at YMCA Swimming Centre Thodupuzha on 16th October 2022 organised by District Aquatic Association Idukki.
